Thank you for shopping with lussoleather.shop.
This Return and Refund Policy explains the arrangements applicable to purchases made through our online store.
Our commercial return policy operates alongside, and does not replace or restrict, rights available to consumers under UK law.
For return, cancellation or refund assistance, contact:
Email: info@lussoleather.shop
In addition to applicable statutory rights, we generally accept eligible returns requested within 30 days after delivery.
To qualify for our commercial return policy after the statutory cancellation period has expired, products should normally be returned in substantially the same condition in which they were received, with original accessories, components and packaging where reasonably available.
Items should not have been materially used, damaged, altered or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.
Our commercial 30-day return policy does not reduce any statutory rights that apply to faulty, defective, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Consumers purchasing eligible goods online generally have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract without giving a reason.
For most eligible goods, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which the customer, or a person nominated by the customer other than the carrier, receives the goods.
For orders containing multiple goods delivered separately, the statutory period may run from receipt of the final relevant item where required by law.
To exercise the statutory right to cancel, customers should communicate a clear decision to cancel before the applicable cancellation period expires.
Customers may contact us at:
A specific wording is not required. The communication should clearly identify the order and state that the customer wishes to cancel.
After informing us of a statutory cancellation, customers should send eligible goods back without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after communicating the decision to cancel.
Before sending a return, customers should contact info@lussoleather.shop for applicable return instructions.
This enables us to identify the order correctly and provide the appropriate return destination and processing instructions.
Products should not be sent to an address obtained independently from a parcel label, search engine, payment-provider record or Shopify corporate address unless we have confirmed that address for the specific return.
Where an eligible product is returned solely because the customer has changed their mind, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the product where permitted by applicable law and where the customer has been properly informed of that responsibility.
Original standard outbound delivery from lussoleather.shop is free.
If we voluntarily provide a prepaid return label for a change-of-mind return, any applicable deduction or charge will be clearly communicated before the customer uses the label, unless we have agreed to bear the cost.
Consumers are entitled to inspect goods to determine their nature, characteristics and functioning in a manner broadly comparable to what would reasonably be permitted in a physical shop.
Customers remain responsible for unnecessary handling beyond what is reasonably required for such inspection.
Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced to reflect diminished value caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.
This does not apply in a manner that unlawfully restricts statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.
If a product arrives damaged, is defective, is materially different from its description, is incorrect or otherwise fails to conform to the contract, customers should contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please include the order number and a description of the problem.
Photographs may be requested where reasonably useful to establish visible damage or an incorrect item. However, reasonable evidence requirements will not be used to remove statutory consumer rights.
Where goods do not conform to the contract, UK law may provide remedies including rejection and refund, repair, replacement, price reduction or other remedies depending on the circumstances and timing.
For qualifying faulty goods, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides a statutory short-term right to reject that generally lasts 30 days, subject to the detailed statutory conditions.
Where goods are defective, damaged on arrival, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming in circumstances for which we are legally responsible, customers will not be required to bear return costs where applicable consumer law requires those costs to be borne by the trader.
Customers should contact us before arranging a return so that appropriate instructions can be provided.
When an eligible statutory cancellation is validly exercised, we will provide the refund required by applicable law.
The refund will generally include the amounts paid for the cancelled goods and any standard outbound delivery charge actually paid by the customer.
Because standard shipping through lussoleather.shop is free, there will normally be no standard outbound shipping charge to reimburse.
Where a customer has specifically selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard method offered, we are not required to reimburse the additional delivery cost to the extent permitted by law.
Where goods are being returned following a statutory cancellation, we will process reimbursement within the period required by applicable law.
We may be entitled to withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or the customer has supplied evidence that they have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.
Once approved and processed, refunds are normally sent to the original payment method.
Financial institutions, card issuers and payment providers may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in the customer's account. Such banking processing time is outside our direct control.
Unless otherwise agreed and legally permissible, a refund will generally be made using the same payment method originally used for the purchase.
We do not normally issue a refund to a different card, account or unrelated person because doing so may create fraud and transaction-security risks.
Where appropriate and subject to product availability, customers may contact us to ask whether an exchange is possible.
The quickest resolution may sometimes involve returning an eligible product and placing a new order.
Nothing in an exchange procedure limits statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products.
Certain products may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right where an applicable legal exception applies.
Examples may include goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised goods, sealed goods not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after being unsealed, goods that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery and other categories excluded by applicable law.
An exception will only be relied upon where the relevant legal conditions are satisfied.
A product being discounted or sold during a promotion does not by itself remove statutory rights.
Products purchased during promotions or sales remain protected by applicable statutory consumer rights.
Where a sale item qualifies for our additional commercial return policy, it will also be treated in accordance with that policy unless clearly stated otherwise before purchase.
Refunds are ordinarily returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.
If a product was purchased as a gift by another person, we may need to communicate with or refund the original purchaser depending on the circumstances.
Refusing a package does not necessarily complete the statutory cancellation process.
Customers who wish to cancel should communicate that decision clearly to us at info@lussoleather.shop.
Where a parcel is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, delivery was repeatedly unsuccessful or the parcel was not collected, we will assess the order once it is returned and contact the customer where appropriate.
Statutory rights will remain unaffected.
Customers who wish to cancel an order before dispatch should contact us promptly.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but fulfilment processing may begin quickly and an order may already have been dispatched.
If dispatch has already occurred, the applicable statutory cancellation or return procedure can normally be used where the goods are eligible.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected return fraud, payment fraud, deliberate product substitution, false claims or other abusive behaviour.
This provision will not be used to deny a genuine customer rights provided by applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy excludes, restricts or replaces rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer legislation, including applicable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations.
